Metamorfoz (Metamorphosis) is the Turkish singer Tarkan's sixth Turkish language and seventh studio album, which was released on December 25 2007 in Turkey. The album sold 300 000 copies in its first week of release and received a Turkish music industry award based on its high sales for 2007.

The album was subsequently released Europe-wide on February 1 2008, and contained the music video for Vay Anam Vay.

Seven of the songs were written by Tarkan, while three others are collaborations with composer Ozan Colakoglu. The album's name, Metamorfoz, means 'metamorphosis' in English, and indicates a deviation from Tarkan's previous work.
Tarkan reveals his transformation over the years in a way that only he can express. New nuances in the album reflect an organic synthesis of East and West. The album's avante garde sounds and sincere sentiments will surprise fans and critics alike.




Music videos were filmed for the tracks Vay Anam Vay, Pare Pare and Arada Bir. The first video, for Vay Anam Vay first aired on January 15 2008.

The video for Pare Pare first aired on April 18 2008. Tarkan appeared on MTV Turkiye's Making the Video, which aired behind-the-scenes footage from the filming of his second video.

The third music video, Arada Bir, was first aired on June 12. Special behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the video was broadcast on Turkish TV channel NR1TV.
